Clear, pale golden in colour. The bouquet shows restrained butterscotch, toffee and muscovado sugar with light oak. Rich ‘burnt’ palate with hints of charcoal, vanilla, toffee, fudge, dry walnut and citrus fruit. Faint top notes of what I describe as Bacardi’s distinctive mushroom/blue cheese soup. Citrus and fudge on a clean finish.
